After delivering AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) with laser LiDAR SLAM navigation to a customer site, it is important to provide the customers with clear online instructions and procedures, to ensure a successful #agvsimplementation. Here are some suggestions for the procedures to be followed:

  1. Unpacking and Inspection:

Supplying the customer to carefully unpack the AGV and inspect it, for any visible signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, they should report it immediately to DLS-TEC or logistics company.

  2. Site Preparation:

Advising the customer to prepare the site according to the AGV requirements. This may include ensuring smooth and obstacle-free paths, providing appropriate charging stations, WIFI and configuring the environment for optimal LiDAR performance (e.g., reducing reflective surfaces).

  3. Power Supply and Charging:

Explaining the power requirements for the AGV, such as the voltage and amperage needed for charging. Provide instructions on connecting the AGV to the power supply or charging station.

  4. LiDAR Mapping and Calibration:

Guiding the customer through the process of mapping the environment. This typically involves driving the AGV around the operational area to generate a map.

  5. Software Setup and Configuration:

Assisting the customer in installing and configuring the necessary software for AGV control and monitoring. This may involve connecting to a central control system, configuring communication protocols, and setting up user interfaces.

  6. Safety Precautions and Training:

Emphasizing the importance of safety precautions and provide training to the customer's staff, on how to interact with the AGV safely. This may include guidelines on how to handle emergency situations, understanding the AGV's limitations, and proper procedures for interacting with the AGV during operation.

  7. Testing and Validation:

Encourage the customer to conduct thorough testing and validation of the AGV's navigation and functionality within their specific environment. This may involve running predefined tasks, checking accuracy and reliability, and identifying any areas that require adjustments.

  8. Ongoing Support and Maintenance:

Establish a support channel for the customer to address any questions, concerns, or issues that may arise during the operation of the AGV. Provide documentation, troubleshooting guides, and regular maintenance recommendations to ensure the AGV's long-term performance.

By following these procedures, the customer can effectively deploy the AGV with laser LiDAR SLAM navigation at their site, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation of the technology.
